Sohom Chatterjee, Ph.D.

I am a PhD graduate from the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department in Texas A&M University, specialized in the field of Operations Research. I am currently working as a Research Engineer in the Risk Analytics and Optimization lab at GE Aerospace Research. I am interested in the applications of large-scale discrete optimization problems, specifically healthcare and supply chain.

  • Developed decision support tool for forecasting, simulating and optimizing flow of trains and locomotives in a time-space railway network of 1700 stations across a 7-day planning horizon.
